The family of a San Angelo Animal Services officer critically injured in a dog attack on November 6, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his medical expenses as he faces a prolonged recovery process. The campaign aims to raise funds to cover the costs of ongoing surgeries and rehabilitation. The officer was attacked by two large dogs, reportedly pit bull mixes, while responding to a report of aggressive dogs on Cloud Street. The incident left him with severe injuries, including a mangled left arm, bite wounds to his head, shoulders, and legs, and significant blood loss.
