The Roots’ drummer Questlove took to Instagram to voice his disapproval of the ongoing Kendrick Lamar and Drake rap battle, while also criticizing the bloodthirsty hip hop fans who couldn’t get enough of the beef. “Nobody won the war. This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned,” Questlove wrote. “Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop truly is dead.” (Billboard)

Allen apologized to Elton on the “Miss Me?” BBC Podcast she co-hosts with Miquita Oliver. (Billboard)
