The lineup of talented performers at this year’s BET Awards just got even more stacked with the announcement of a series of additional artists set to play live at the ceremony. Lauryn Hill, Ice Spice, Tyla, and YG Marley were all just announced as performers at this year’s BET Awards, with Tanner Adell also set to play at the BET Amplified Stage. The new batch of performers join the previously announced performance lineup featuring Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Muni Long, Shaboozey, and Latto.
Taraji P. Henson will once again host the awards show for a third time, with Usher set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony. This year’s theme for the BET Awards is “Standing On Culture,” with the ceremony set to air live on Sunday, June 30 at 8 p.m. ET on BET. (Vibe)
